Beautiful Minds

Welcome!Beautiful Minds is a leader in the provision of educational programs that focus on positive mental health and the reduction of stigma. We work with schools, social agencies, and community partners to develop, promote, and deliver programming that increases knowledge and promotes positive attitudes towards mental health, thus reducing stigma.
Clearly, a focus on prevention could, over time, reduce the number of mental health issues, reducing the need for more intensive and costly interventions. The early identification of symptoms and effective intervention is known to affect long term outcomes and improve the quality of a person’s life.
Beautiful Minds provides quality education around mental wellness. We hope that with the information we provide around the stigma of mental illness that students, teachers, support staff, parents, and the general community will have a better understanding of mental health and its related issues. We also hope that people who participate in the program will support others in their community who are experiencing mental health concerns.
Overall, the program works to change the way mental illness is viewed by society by changing the negative perceptions that many people have about mental health. We want to educate people about the importance of mental health in everyone’s life and let people know that they are not alone.
Beautiful Minds currently works with people in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. We do, however, consider special requests from other areas as resources are available.
